Portuguese Roast Recipe
Ingredients:
4 - 5 LB. roast chuck or bottom round
1LB. Chourico
potatoes
carrots
1 LG. onion sliced thin
1 bay leaf
1 TBS. hot crushed pepper
1 TBS. choppped garlic
1 bouillon cube
2 packs azafran
1/2 tsp marjoram
1/2 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp parsley
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
1/2 tsp basil
salt and pepper to taste
Recipe Directions
- Mix all the ingredients in a cooking pan
- Add 2 to 3 cans of Tomato Sauce and enough water to cover vegetables
- Cook at 325 to 350 for 5 5 hours (cover with foil)
